Quality Control

COMPLIANCE

With four internal quality control labs (wet lab, dry lab, metals lab, and bio lab), plus a controlled environment sample room, quality is key to product development and production at WCI.

Our American based, product research and development team, make full use of our labs for both on-going production quality assurance and Made In America product solutions. Working in an ISO class facility (classes 7, 8, and 10), including over 10,000 square feet of clean manufacturing space, means military and nuclear grade production.

With a quality control plan and a quality assurance program to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, WCI has the processes in place to effectively ensure consistent batch management, product improvements, training, audits, and corrective actions to provide the products you require. The scope of our management system covers the manufacture and distribution of industrial welding chemical products meeting military and nuclear specifications.

SHELF LIFE

Under section 3.41 of MIL-STD-129, the shelf-life herein is described as the total period of time beginning with the date of manufacture that an item may remain in the combined wholesale and retail store systems, and still remain suitable for issue too, or consumption by the end-user. Shelf-life should not be confused with service life. To download a copy of our shelf life guide click here.

All products are lot numbered with a numerical marking in YYYYMMDDBB format where YYYY is the year, MM is the month, DD is the date, and BB is the batch number for the day.

If you have any questions about the remaining shelf life of any WCI product you have, if you require a statement of shelf-life, or need to know where to look the lot number on your product, please email qc@weldingchemicalsinc.com
